Beautiful fine china relics (a creamer, platter, luncheon, dinner, and dessert plates) were discovered in a lower apartment antique room which was only used on special occasions and had fantastic ocean views.
Traffic Control
Care is taken to protect motorists during demolition works. Whenever the northern lane of North Shore Road is closed, setbacks are maintained for adequate distance between stationary traffic and ongoing works.
Final Frontier
While razing last sections of the building, previously unknown rooms housing chairs, paint, and other supplies were discovered enhancing Clayhouse mystique.

Moving Along Nicely – Sayonara!
It is now abundantly clear why no Atlantic Hurricane Season could shift such well built, solid construction; a 1975 Donna Summer disco-era 12″ record was found inside the building this week!
On Schedule
While skillfully leaving most side walls in-tact, approximately half of the building middle section was safely demolished this week.
Full Mobilization
All contractors are now working on-site with Smith Hauling & Excavating executing according to their demolition plan.
Demolition In-Progress
After notifying neighboring residents and other stakeholders beforehand, back-to-back hurricanes subsequently delayed the September 8th target start until September 24th; target completion is December 3, 2020.
